Vacancy Overview
This vacancy has arisen as the recent team-member moved on to conclude their studies. We now have an opening in our e-commerce team, handling all online customer orders, answering emails and calls and assisting the team with customers in our showroom. Working as part of a small team, we are a very hands-on business so work ethic means everything to us.
What you'll be doing day to day
- The crux of the role is to handle all online orders as well as managing the email inbox
- You will also be the first point of contact to customers via telephone, this could be general queries on products or questions mainly around online orders, website queries, etc
- Customers also visit our showroom which showcases retail products as sample rangers for teamwear. You will also assist your co-workers with these customers.
- 95% of orders you will handle will be online. These need to have the stock picked, checked and almost always embellished with embroidery/printing. All of which you will have co-workers to help.
- Editing of orders as and when required e.g. to add an item to a customer order, refund an item if required, update customers on any stock issues or delays.
- Email replies to customers, it is vital that your grammar and spelling is strong.
- Offer advice to customers on products and cross sell out other services whenever possible.
- Packaging and postal of online orders, liaison with couriers.
- Merchandising and housekeeping alongside co-workers
- Maintaining your awareness of stock to ensure customer satisfaction when queries received face to face or through other communication such as email or telephone.
- Stock room management, replenishment and maintaining stock levels when running low.
- Involvement and attendance at events off-site as and when
- The role is best suited to someone with a logical mindset and who is process driven, with the ability to pre-empt situations and handle challenges.
- This is a very busy role and is also best handles by someone organised, assertive and willing to go above and beyond.

Experience required
- E-Commerce experience would be preferred however not essential
- Experience in telephone and face-to-face sales environment, ideally retail clothing

- A natural conversation starter & ability to engage with others
- Positive attitude with a genuine enthusiasm towards work
- Professional image & polite manner
